It’s not news that what’s going on in the world right now is causing inner anxiety for many of us. Because we have never experienced this in our modern society, people just don’t know what to do or what to expect, which leads to a feeling of fear.

In the book Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, the author, Charles MacKay describes what happens when fear affects large groups of people. Common sense goes out the window and is replaced by irrational behavior.

From a spiritual point of view, it’s important to stay above the fear.  Because when we are in a state of fear, or stress, or anxiety, two main things happen:

• Our brains do not function optimally so we struggle to make good decisions.
• Our immune systems are suppressed and at a time when we wouldn’t want that to happen.
  

The EQ GYM believes now is a time in history where we need to use and prove our emotional intelligence! Thats why we’ll start a live Meditation Group for those who need help staying above fear and for those who wish to release anxiety.  So let’s give ourselves a reset and calm our nerves through a guided “Releasing Anxiety Meditation” by The EQ GYM.
